Current School Year FAQs

  • We accept children from the ages of 3-6 years. We sometimes accept children who are just under 3 after a quick assessment to determine readiness for the program and if they are fully potty-trained.

  • Once a child is three, they would just need to be fully potty-trained. This means they are able to ask when they need to use the washroom, can pull up/down their pants, and are able to wipe on their own.

  • Rising Scholars Montessori Inc. only offers a 5-days/week option. We do follow the EPSB calendar (including winter and spring break, statutory holidays, etc.). Some days may differ slightly.

  • Children who are four years of age or older are eligible to attend our full-day program.

  • No, sorry we do not offer before or after school care.

  • All food at Rising Scholars Montessori Inc. is to be provided by parents.

  • Our morning and afternoon classes are 3 hours each. The morning class is from 8:35 a.m. –11:35 a.m. and the afternoon class is from 12:10 p.m. – 3 :10 p.m. Full-day students would attend both classes with a lunch break between.
