We accept children from the ages of 3-6 years. We sometimes accept children who are just under 3 after a quick assessment to determine readiness for the program and if they are fully potty-trained.

Once a child is three, they would just need to be fully potty-trained. This means they are able to ask when they need to use the washroom, can pull up/down their pants, and are able to wipe on their own.

Our program will still be Montessori based with the same quality of learning, but instead of a morning and afternoon class, we will be offering a full-day program for all ages of children. This means that your child will be at the Montessori for the whole day from 8:35am - 3:10pm. There will be limited spots for half-days and only in the morning (8:35 am - 11:35 am).

Students will attend Montessori from 8:35 am - 3:10 pm. Students who attend the half-day morning are here for 3 hours (8:35 am - 11:35 am). The morning will be dedicated to Montessori learning. Then lunch, outdoor play time, rest time, and inside time with more Montessori work time, stem activities, arts and crafts. Yoga, meditation and French will still be included.

All food at Rising Scholars Montessori Inc. is to be provided by parents.

Rising Scholars Montessori Inc. only offers a 5-days/week option.
We do follow the EPSB calendar (including winter and spring break, etc.). Some dates may differ.
We will be closed for all statutory holidays.

We will be considering before and after school care for an additional cost if enough parents are interested.

Yes, we do accept Alberta Child Care Subsidy. Individual families must apply for this on their own. You can apply HERE.
